Many people who come to Pluscarden like to light a candle in our Church.

The Pluscarden public candle stand is set up by the icon shrine of Our Lady in the South Transept. Candles placed there burn as a symbol of prayer.

People light them as an expression of their desire to pray for a particular intention, or simply to give honour to God and to Our Lady.
