Terms and Conditions
- You’re ordering from Pluscarden Abbey, Elgin, Morayshire, IV30 8UA Scotland, United Kingdom
- Contact. You can contact us using our contact form.
- Pricing. All pricing on this shop is in pounds sterling. If you are buying from overseas your payment card will be charged in pounds sterling at your card issuing bank’s current exchange rate to your local currency. For a guide to current exchange rates you can use the XE Currency Converter at www.xe.com; please treat this only as a guide as the exchange rate of your card issuing bank is likely to be different. Our pricing includes UK Value Added Tax at the current applicable rate. If you are purchasing from overseas you may have to pay an import duty to your own country, such duty is not covered in our pricing and you will be solely responsibly for it’s settlement to the appropriate authority.
- Delivery. Your order will be dispatched within 10 days; your payment card will not be charged upon placing your order. Delivery will be by packet post or courier, you may have to sign for your delivery from the postal service or courier company. Overseas orders are sent using Royal Mail International Signed For service.
- Exchanges. If you would like to exchange goods, for any reason, just return them undamaged in suitable packaging within 7 days of receipt. Please enclose a note to tell us what you would like instead and we’ll despatch it. If we have supplied the products which you ordered and you simply wish to change, for instance, the size or colour, you are responsible for paying the return carriage costs to us and will be charged for the return post and packing costs of the new items to yourself.
- Refunds. If you would like to return your goods for a refund, for any reason, just return them undamaged in suitable packaging within 7 days of receipt. Please enclose a note indicating you are cancelling your order and requesting a refund. To allow us to process your refund efficiently please state our original receipt number. Your refund will be issued by the same method as you paid. You are responsible for the return carriage costs to us. Your refund will be for the product prices only, we are not able to refund your original postage and packing charge.
- Quality. You should be delighted with the products you receive from us. If you have any query or complaint about the quality of the merchandise you have ordered and received please contact our office by email as noted above.
- Security. Your personal details and payment card information are securely handled by our payment partner, Stripe.
- Privacy. Both Pluscarden Abbey is conscious that you are trusting us with private information which we need to process your order. You have our assurance that your information will not be shared with any other organisations except the Bank of Scotland, our chosen payment card service provider.
- Acceptance of Orders. We retain the right to accept your order solely at our discretion. If we are concerned that you are attempting to place an order dishonestly, fraudulently, by impersonating someone else or are attempting to use payment details which have been stolen we will make additional checks as to your standing and if appropriate involve external authorities.
