Our picture was taken just before the final blessing of this year's Midnight Mass: so at about 1.30 in the morning! As all sing the "Adeste fideles", with as much gusto as can still be managed, Fr. Abbot goes to the crib, to place in it our little image of the Infant Jesus, all wrapped up in his swaddling bands.

The vestments worn were made by our community on Caldey Island, round about 100 years ago.

But not the M.C.'s surplice, which was made last week, by the very M.C. wearing it for the first time!
