The 2021 Pluscarden Pentecost Lectures will go ahead as planned, on Tuesday 25, Wednesday 26 and Thursday 27 May - see the previous post here.

Covid-19 restrictions, still strict in our area, make it impossible for us to host our lectures in a public way with a live audience, as we have always done before. Our guest houses remain closed. Also our lecturer is not able to travel here from his base at the Angelicum in Rome.

Fr. Thomas Joseph White nevertheless plans to deliver his lectures, in real time, exactly as advertised. The Pluscarden community will gather in the Chapter House to watch them on screen, and our own camera will be set up to enable the lecturer to see the community as he speaks. Each lecture is planned to end with a question and answer session.

Of course all these lectures are highly recommended! We hope that current unfortunate circumstances will bring with them this unforeseen blessing: that many more than our normal regular audience will be able to enjoy and benefit from our lectures.
